Coast Retreats of Mendocino, fine vacation rentals on the Mendocino Coast, is a business that grew out of our own experience as travelers. When we thought about what we wanted to provide for our guests, we kept in mind the things we liked and the things we wished were different when we were on vacation. Attention goes into the details ^_ the stereo, the washer & dryer, the dishwasher, the comfy couches, and the down comforters.

The low-key personal feeling that we've brought to the business ensures that we stay dedicated to relaxation and time out from the world. We run the business that way, and we run it for people who are looking for a place to rest without intrusion or fuss.

Each house we offer has been chosen or designed to be unique and gracious, with skylights, hot tubs, and windows oriented toward the water. The Village of Mendocino is close enough for that hit of espresso or live music. Restaurants all along this stretch of the coast are well known for their bountiful plates of thoughtfully prepared food.

And then there's the ocean...

Every house has a VCR and stereo, washer & dryer, fully equipped kitchen, woodstove with glass doors, coffee maker  and hot tub. We supply firewood, linens, towels, bedding and anything else we can think of.
