92-93 Budget

1100 The third and final year of implementation requires continuing in-service and curriculum development. Windows III will be revised, and Windows IV will be developed.

4000 These funds will be used to acquire site licenses, updated software, new software, and technology resources such as laser discs and CD's. Each participant in the program receives audio and video tapes and computer disks for their multi media portfolios.

5200 These funds assist us in disseminating the model process we've established with Windows to the Future. It is as learners ourselves that we bring the magic and excitement of learning to other teachers and students. Living in a rural and geographically remote area, virtually all conferences and workshops other than those we put on require travel out of the area.

5600 It is important to keep the equipment in a good state of repair.

6400 Equipment purchased for the project will be directly related to the student learning needs as described in the Windows curriculum. The equipment is needed to implement Windows IV and further specialized and advanced courses.

The Windows to the Future project will be completely self sustaining after the 95-96 implementation year. Regular District and county ROP ADA will be sufficient to maintain the program. Both the county office and MUSD are committed to making the program an essential part of education for gifted and talented students.
