Consisting of Jenner citizens appointed by the Sonoma County Board of Supervisors, the JWCAC maintains proprietory interest over all aspects of the town's water, to include sources, storage, and distribution.  Without compromise, it is JWCAC intent that Jenner's water quality can and should be fully and continuously guaranteed within frameworks of local, state, and federal law, and following the imperatives of scientifically established data of both quantitative and qualitative nature.

  • On August 3, 2001, the JWCAC requested and was granted that many of the functions, considerations, and actions directly relevant to Sonoma Coast Associates' THP 00-040 SON would be assumed by the legal subcommittee of the Watershed Committee of the Jenner Community Club.  Documents or references to the JWCAC which are not included in JWCAC files and which have direct bearing upon that timber harvest plan may be found within the records and archives of the Jenner Community Club.
