Bridgehaven

A small community located near the old ferry crossing between the southern (Spanish) territory and the northern (Russian) territory. The first Highway 1 bridge was built in 1931 and replaced during the 1970s; this is the crossing closest to the mouth of the Russian River. Willow Creek Road starts just south of the bridge; past the Bridgehaven community it becomes a rough, narrow road through thousands of acres of historically rich State Park and ranch land.
