In addition, CalNHS.org now provides similar information about hospices and home health care agencies. As a result of this expansion, CalNHS.org now lists crucial details about quality, types of services provided, complaints and deficiencies, staffing levels, cost and location for virtually EVERY long-term care agency and facility in our state. It also includes new interactive tools that help consumers, their families, and providers determine if a nursing home is necessary, or if an alternate care option is more appropriate. You'll notice that this website is truly a one-stop shop for Californians evaluating their long-term care options.
