We paint together . . . Sometimes reaching across each other, working simultaneously on the canvas.
One paints a bold stroke, the other covers, caresses, eases it into a form acceptable to both. The process is about letting go . . . about simplifying our vision.
We paint many conversations . . . we interrupt, finish each others sentences, or change the subject. At some point the conversation is over.
