DOUG DESMOND
Doug Desmond was born in Austin, Texas, and grew up in the San Francisco Bay area. He has been connected with the Mendocino coast for the last 35 years and has lived in the little hamlet of Caspar since 1989.
Doug is primarily a self-taught artist except for brief periods at California College of Arts and Crafts, the University of Texas and Cal State at Hayward. He has participated in many group, juried, and one-man shows. For the last 15 years he has worked mainly in graphic illustration. His media include pen and ink, oil, watercolor and etching.
