The Golden Wood Dogwood Model
The Dogwood model has an Asian feel to it and features a stunning draping branch, leaf and blossom inlay down the fingerboard. The neck/fingerboard & body is made from quilted or flamed or birdseye Maple and the top is Redwood. Decoration is in the form of a single strip of Green Abalone top purfling (contrasting well with the Redwood) and hardwood binding top & bottom. Natural finishes are available; either high gloss lacquer or oiled. |
The Golden Wood Oak Tree Model
This model has the mystique of the deep forest about it. It has a Cherry neck/fingerboard, flamed maple, lacewood, Red oak or Claro walnut back and sides and Engleman spruce or Western Red cedar top. It features special oak leaf and acorn mother of pearl fingerboard block markers and an oak tree headstock design. The edges are a row of wood BWBW purfling and hardwood binding. The oak & acorn has optional high gloss lacquer or oiled finish. | | |

The Basic Golden Wood Teardrop
This model is the simplest dulcimer I make. It features a cherry neck/fingerboard, soft flamed maple or lacewood back and sides and an Engleman Spruce top. A single strip of hardwood binding top and bottom and 3/8ths abalone dots on the fingerboard, the Green abalone GW logo and
your 1.5" X 2" custom design crafted by me are its sole
decorative features. It comes only with an oiled finish. |
