MAC to Diversify its Summer Class Offerings.

The Mendocino Art Center and the Mendocino High School have worked out an agreement allowing Mac to diversify its class offerings by using studio space in the photography lab and the woodworking studio at the high school in Summer. As a result, Mac will be offering a boat building class called "Building Daisy," to be taught by Mike Moreland from July 26th through July 31st, and a photography class, "Landscape Photography: A New Perspective," to be taught by Neil Gilchrist from July 19th through July 23rd. The Mendocino Art Center is grateful to the high school for its assistance. Adding a photography lab class in the MAC Summer Class Catalog is just the beginning of expanded media class offerings. Please see the Summer Catalog in this issue of A & E to register. Future issues of A & E and the Art Center website at: <http://www.mcn.org/a/mendoart/> will include new classes to be added to the late Summer schedule.

If you are interested in Haiku---learning about it, or reading, writing and publishing it---Helen Reynolds invites you to come and discuss the subject on March 23rd, 3:30 to 4:30 p.m., in the lobby of the Mendocino Art Center, 45200 Little Lake Street, in Mendocino.
