Flower Essence Pharmacy™/FlowerEssences.Com™

    The Flower Essence Pharmacy^™ was founded in 1994 by Gary Mason who operated it as a mail-order company based in California. In 1997, Centergees, Inc., of Portland, Oregon, acquired the Flower Essence Pharmacy and moved it to Portland. Centergees, which opened for business in 1993, was a New Age retail store in Portland owned by Cathy and Richard Kinnaird. At the time of the merger, Centergees had the largest selection of essences of any storefront in the USA, and the Flower Essence Pharmacy^™ had the largest selection of essences available in the world.

    To make room for the Flower Essence Pharmacy^™, Centergees turned its large meeting room into a mail-order headquarters. For about a year and a half, both Centergees and the Flower Essence Pharmacy grew and prospered in the Portland retail building. Soon, however, both businesses grew to be too large for the building in which they were both housed. So, in early 1999, Cathy Kinnaird moved the Flower Essence Pharmacy^™ out of the building to Sandy, Oregon.

    In September 1999, Cathy decided to concentrate exclusively on the international mail-order business, distributing flower essences and other vibrational healing tools. Cathy and Richard closed Centergees, their retail store, and moved everything out to Sandy.

    Cathy Kinnaird is a flower essence practitioner, Reiki master, former intensive care nurse, and developer of the Source-Nature-Soul line of vibrational essences. She was the guiding force behind the Flower Essence Pharmacy^™ for three years. Her husband, Richard, an entrepreneur and former engineer, designed this website.
