David
Jenks was raised and educated in Massachusetts, graduating
from Williams College and attending the Yale Summer School of
Music and Art and the School of Museum of Fine Arts in Boston.
A Californian since 1977, he is now based in Mendocino. He describes
his style as “weaving a course between realism and
impressionism.” His paintings have been featured
in galleries across the country and in Japan. Several of his
images have been published and his paintings hang in a number
of corporate collections. He is an artist member of the California
