The Ten Mile Coastal Trail Foundation, Inc. is a public-membership, nonprofit, California corporation based in Fort Bragg, CA. Its purpose is to preserve for future generations an environmentally sensitive trail running parallel to the coast from Fort Bragg to the Ten Mile River. The trail route has existed as a trail, logging railroad and logging road for more than 140 years.
The Foundation is governed by a nine member board of directors; six are elected by the members at our annual meeting in December and three are appointed by the board.
Restoration of the trail by the California Department of Parks and
Recreation will start as soon as Environmental Impact Review is completed
and will take three to five years using federal, state and public grant
funds.

It is said that, "time and tide wait for no one". This could not be more true than in the case of the Pudding Creek Trestle and the Logging Road which are already in need of restoration due to the effects of wind and weather. If the trestle and logging road are to be preserved for future generations, each one of us should be asking ourselves the questions, "If not me, who? If not now, when?"
